My painting is an internal journey played outward. Each painting begins with a single color, a single mark, made without apprehension. Each subsequent color or mark is then a direct response to its predecessor, a visual dance of cause and effect.
With my painting, I strive to capture a glimpse of the vastness and boldness of both the external and internal universe. Focusing on color, movement, depth and balance, my abstract paintings come from an internal rising that reaches out to the viewer with the hopes of drawing the viewer into their own inner journey.
